Monterrey International Airport

Monterrey International Airport "General Mariano Escobedo" is located in the city of Monterrey, and is considered the fourth largest airport in the country and one of the most modern in North America.

In 2011, the Monterrey International Airport handled approximately 46,000 tons of cargo, making it the third busiest airport in this category.

In 2005, during the United Nations Conference the airport had its greatest test. There were visitors from 50 different countries and representing committees of 180 countries. The airport overcame the trial.

In 2006, Terminal C was opened for passengers, and with these new options 8 million passengers can be served per year.
